Black stuff everywhere

Leaves black stuff everywhere, terrible for single use

Hello Phoebe,

As you have changed this review, I will respond to all 3 complaints you made about this item.

Firstly. From your first email with me, I accepted that you were not happy with this product and was prepared to refund you back the cost of the files which I still am. When someone makes a complaint, we need to establish there is a fault. The only way of confirming this is sending the product back and I can raise the concerns with my manufacturer. I never said I would ever send them back to you but I do not see why I should provide a refund on your shipping when I cannot find a fault. All three of your complaints I have explained to you and I will reiterate below.

The first complaint you made was the black bits all over the nail. Yes, this is normal, it is a black file and the sanding medium is black. What will reduce the bits greatly upon first use is prepare the nail file first. I also explained it happens with ALL files, as this is how they wear out, by losing the sanding medium and in turn the file is ineffective, they are just more noticeable on a black file. Also, why is there a problem with bits everywhere? you are sanding, there will be mess which you have to clean anyway and they are just easier to see.

The second issue you raised was the squeaking of the file. This will also be remedied by preparing your file for use first which also eliminates damaging a client when filing with harsh new files. The squeaking comes from the coating to hold the sanding medium in place and completely normal.

The third issue you raised was, 'the buffers do not work'. Well, the products you purchased are files and not fit for the purpose you are using them for. If you are buffing as you stated, you need a sponge buffer to get even distribution of the sanding medium. A rigid file does not give you even coverage in buffing and why they should not be used for this purpose. I also sent you the video of the same product batch working with no issues which is why I mentioned I will not refund the shipping cost back to you if I cannot find a fault. There still may be a fault but when you are refusing to send them back to me, I cannot confirm this.

They are a 40c file which are made from the best Japanese sandpaper and even still I priced them as disposable being about 85% cheaper than a professional sanitisable file which you made comparisons to. But as I said in my previous correspondance to you if there is a fault in the paper we will happily refund you including shipping costs but if I do not find a fault, I will not refund shipping.

I am pretty disappointed you gave a 1 star review on this product without even contacting me first but what I am shocked that you would threaten to put my email correspondence on social media feeling I have been unreasonable. I am trying to help you. You have the shipping label I raised for you, all you need to do is get an A6/DLE satchel and the courier will even collect from your home. I cannot make it any easier and I also offered to pay for the satchel to send it back in.

Please contact me or just send the items back and I will refund you.
